possibly worse then armegedoen, because they probably wouldn't have survived that one to have to worry about the next step. they'd have been erased from existence instead of looking at eternity alone.
but... but if he could convince Uriel he would be a better prize, it would give aziraphale a chance to figure out how to fix things. Crowley was good in the moment, but aziraphale was the one who was the master of the long game.
