Everything Felix hears is blasted on every frequency on chorus. He thought it was only fitting, considering their last encounter.

When tucker caught on, he'd muted his own output speakers, leading the two of them in an out right brawl until Felix could wrestle the helmet off the blue sim soldier. He'd been nearly gentle until that point, wanting to save tucker from pain until the unwilling audience was ready to listen in.

That; and he wanted the helmet off to make sure that annoying AI couldn't jump over to help out his soon to be butchered teammate.

The initial skirmish ended when part of the building they'd been fighting alongside fell under the onslaught of fire power, and collapsed mostly on top of them. Felix's shield helped him avoid most of the falling debris. Tucker wasn't so lucky, and lay dazed and pinned in the rubble.

As soon as Felix's headset was broadcasting live, he peeled the protective armor from Tucker's free arm.

It took breaking three fingers before he got what he was looking for, a painful choked off whimper for all of Chorus to hear.

....

The hum of captain tucker's plasma sword filled the airways, the own faintly swear murder the the mercenary. Palomo really wanted to mute his comm, but the church AI the red and blue's had was trying to track the transmissions source, and palomo, like everyone else listening, wanted to be ready to take action when the blue computer unit found where his captain was.

The airways filled with screaming; Palomo had to fight to be sick. The saving grace was the transmitting that caught over Felix's broadcast. Church's voice strained to be heard over his teammate agony, heading out coordinates in a panic.

It was only a few blocks from where palomino currently was; he ran like never before. No plan. Not even an idea. He just knew he could let the only other member of green team go through this alone.

Dr. Grey is kneeling over Tucker, shouting orders, scanner set aside as she checked over the deep wound cutting into Tucker's gut. The suit and armour where helping keep the injury from bleeding uncontrollably, but grey was more worried about organ damage and captain tucker bleeding *in*

Sarge and Captain Simmons were looking over Washington, checking for spinal damage, and getting ready to move him as well. ANd then Captain grif was at her side, asking if it was safe to move Tucker as well. It would have to be, she couldn’t do surgery here - too high of a chance for infection. They eased Tucker up, draping him on Grif's back, the orange soldier carrying him piggy back - a move he seemed oddly good at - “THis is like.. the fourth time. Who else is gonna carry him around? you think we’d trust Caboose with this?”

“Fourth?”

“Well, Doc got tucker with a rocket launcher once…. and then there was the time Church blew up. Oh - and when he got buried in the rock slide. Like I said - even when we were still enemies, you think we’d trust caboose with something like this?”

She really didn’t have a response to that, so she just nodded, following along as they picked their way back to Dr. Grey’s work area. Carolina led the way; Sarge and Simmons were shouldering Wash's weight between the two of them, and Donut was walking alongside Lopez, catching the robot’s head when it would roll off on a mis-step. Apparently that would need to be reattached then too. Caboose trailed along behind them all, talking quietly to freckles.

They were setting Tucker and Washington up when church returns to Tucker's ai slot - the silence is deafening. Tucker was by no means a quiet person - he was always talking, and if he wasn’t, you could still HEAR him thinking. to enter into tucker’s mental subspace, and hear nothing more than the hum of his own existence was horrifying.

“Ah, Welcome back, Church…” The Doctor greated him, uncertain, as he flickered at Tucker's shoulder. HE didn’t like the tone of her voice. Sarge and Carolina were scrubbing up in the corner of the room, Lopez was already standing at attention at Dr. Grey’s side, helping to remove Tucker’s armour.

“How is he?”

“Abdominal trauma, scanner shows a free lower bowel perforation…”

Church nodded, it sounding much like what he had figured from his own earlier scans when he'd engaged the healing unit while they were still listening to felix’ monologue. He’d started tucker on pain suppressors immediately, a slow feed to help tucker stay focused. When church had to jump to transmit felix’ confesion, he’d flooded Tucker's system with the remaining pain killers. He relayed that to Dr. Grey; Tucker hadn’t OD’d already, so she’d have to be careful on what more she could give him.
