there is a storm brewing in the east.
The air is hot and sticky in its wake, the humidy rising and leaving the land swealtering. Personbally, corlwey has come to learn it's almost like the Almighty is prepping the area for a bad one. Make it so misrable that you welcome the rain - and it talks you longer to admit that maybe it's too muhc rain. to much rian and wind and they'll be an abundance of flash flods and mudlsides and gerneal disruction.
in turn the humans will grumble at hte sky, shake thier fists and demand of their god - why would you do htis to us? corlwey can understand the feeling - he encourages questioning the staus que and demanding answers. he also understands too that this isn't new - it's been happening since humans left eaden, and maybe don't build anything too important on the low point next to a river? don't put your home on soft ground ont he side of a steep hill.
still. human lives are short, and it's easy to forget that this happened last time around too. and if they shake thier fists too hard and groumble about rain, the Almightly is very likely to listen, and hold off the storms too long, letting lands wither and crumble to dust, just to make a point.
there's a village close; Azirpahle's been lurking - not lingering.. angels don't lurk - in the area, so corlwey is imagining he probbly has some news ont he storm. and if theirs angels around - it's going to be a *bad* storm. he'll probably make it before the first dops fall though if he starts walking now. close some of hte distance with some flying, but he'll wait until night. it's easy to get the humans to forget seeing you, but it makes you a real easy target for heaven, out in the open like that. not that demons aren't just as likely to hunt angels in the same manner.
if he fancied a trip to Hel, he could pop up in the angel's village within a few minutes - pending anyone catching sight of him downstairs and... quesioning .. him. Nha.. he'll walk. Camel if he has too, but he's never found that one all to comfortable. and they don't seem to like him all that much either.
besides, lovely lady like himself, walking all by her lonesome int he night. bound to cause some troule that way. huamns are starting to have some strong opionons on gender - wither their efforts dangel or not - and crolwey's found it a stupid way to divide them, but a ripe place for disent. they also have rules on how each one can dress, futher brken down by age and wealth and class, and crowley's been having a field day mixing and matching to piss poeple off, and then dressing up or down to stir quite the schandel, and ency, od the thers.
a perk of Hell is that getting thinks to turn black is so easy you don't even need a mircle to do it, and the humans fall over themselves to get their hands on the expensicve colour. corlwey's currently sporting the most sought after deisgn in womens wear, as black as night, and it's gotten some of the humans downright foming at the mouth over it.
He wonder's what the angel things of it....
