i think i meant this to be a whole ass story, but i couldn't get it to shape up into one, so after a month of fighting it, I'm just going to post what there is and call it a day.

this was inspired by egghead and the bonney shippers all collectively sitting back and going ".. well. shit. Now what?" I understand them just washing their hands from their stories. or just decided the new reveal didn't happen - head in the sand style. but... because i'm fucked in the head, i was inspired of how that ship might play out canonically.
And then it turned in the Kidd Pirates and their outlook on sex as Captain Kidd looses his shit in the background. I was hoping to work it into Bonney bonding with the Kidd Pirates- specifically Quincy and Dive, but the words started to trickle off there.
The Non-Con tag is there because minors cannot consent to sex; but this will deal with child sex-work or sex-for-favours. However - despite the topic - it's a little light more lighthearted than it would seem. For them - these are things that have already happen, and the Kidd Pirates take a frank outlook on sex and there is not much dwelling on things they've done in the past.
This is not to say they are at all okay what's happened to Bonney.
Mistakes Made
The Kidd Pirates where already in a bad way when the Strawhats caught up to them.
What was unexpected was for Kidd to limp angrily over to confront Bonney. The two had a stare down for a tense moment - Kidd's crew watching just as warily as Luffy's was - before Kidd erupted.
The words of the angry outburst may have been lost to the Strawhats but the fear on Bonney's face made it clear she understood him perfectly well, "Kidd...."
"AOIS!" he exploded, prompting Killer to stagger up and try and calm him down. He only managed to pull Kidd away from crowding the poor girl. "Dè an aois a that agad!?" he continued to rage, only not fighting harder to free himself because some part of him was aware that Killer was barely standing on his own at this point and Kidd could easily truly hurt him further by accident.
Bonnie was about to cry. Kidd looked about to cry. Killer had frozen in place. Heat & Wire looked distraught. Quincy and Dive had stood up and looked to ready to intervene.
Kidd surprised them all by shrugging free of Killer to cup Bonney's face in his hand; hunched down like he was trying to make himself smaller, "Bonnie Bonney,1 carson a dhèanadh tu sin dhut fhéin?"
She was openly crying now; Zoro tentatively holding Sanji back as the Strawhats tried to make head or tales of a conversation they were being excluded from.
Kidd was not going to hurt Bonney - in face he might take it upon himself to rampage on anyone who did.
Kidd's island language was not one that Bonney had been officially taught, bit enough passer-byers to her father's church had spoken it so Bonney - in the information sponge way that most children are - had picked up more than she'd realized.
In the aftermath of Kizaru's rampage against the pirates in Sabaody, before the summit war was broadcasted out to the world, Bonney had followed the colourful, half-remembered swears down rubble laden streets to find the Kid Pirates regrouping. The captain was ranting up a storm as Killer saw to a nasty wound on his thigh from the Pascificas. Bonney - already on edge and emotional at the sight of her goal having been briefly danged in front of her only to have him ripped away before she could find answers.
She knew her pronunciation was off, but she was sure the words were right regardless. Kidd's face had lit up like a kid in a candy store, and his crew had let her approach with nothing more than a curious look.
And in taking comfort in the little bit of home she'd found after so long, she'd let Kidd take comfort in her later that evening. Her adult body had enjoyed the act, even if she didn't quite understand why everyone was always so needy for it. It had also given her an idea of what Blackbeard was angling for later on, so at least she'd been better prepared for that.
Kidd having found out the secret that her powers had let her hide had turned him into a bit of a protect monster she as not expecting. She's understood it from the Strawhats - Luffy was just like that. But she hadn't really expected Kidd to care. And then he'd gotten mad - "Tha mi baoghalach" he'd seethed - she was surprised to fine none of the wrath of Kidd was directed at her. If anything, more of it seemed to be focused on himself.
it was a conversation she's end up having with Quincy when she'd asked the woman how old she'd been she'd first had sex.
"Probably same age as you," she admitted. But she'd looked so sad with she'd said it, and Bonney found her self hugging the other woman. They cuddled together, Quincy carding her fingers though Bonney's hair, "I think that's true for most of us from back home."
"What about Captain Kidd?"
"Phff, Killer wouldn't let that happen," her laugh was bitter, "I remember those hellions, back then. Didn't think they were going to make it for a long time. Kidd dreamed too big and Killer was too feral. I was certain the gangs where gonna eat them up and spit them out."
Bonney looked over to where Killer & Kidd had fallen sleep next to each other.
"Killer mauled anybody who tried to touch Kidd, well after the point that Kidd could have decided for himself. It was a point of contention between the two of them for years."
Mindful that Bonney was 12, Quincy did not expound on how Kidd had ended up being the oldest virgin on the island because everyone was so afraid of Killer. And even after the two's initial falling out, none of the girls had wanted to take Kidd's money because there was a bit of pride in the fact that they'd kept one kid from having to sell himself just to be able to get to the next day.
It was selfish of them, and poor Kidd was almost 17 before he finally got someone to touch his dick - almost a half decade older than the island average. His astronomically low body count when they'd initially hit the Grand Line had been at odds with the more hardened pirates they'd faced -and Kidd made up for it by having the highest kill count of his generation.
Quincy could remember one early bar brawl that had started because some asshole had tried to hit on Emma, even after she'd said no - and then tried to 'buy' her from Kidd for the night.
Kidd had mostly been offended that the man had tried to pay him instead of Emma. Comments had been made about Kidd's lack of sexual maturity, and as they'd cleaned blood and gore off themself later, Kidd had asked Killer what a man's body count should be.
Killer had the curse of having been a quiet, pretty child before Kidd, and had learned to use that as a weapon before he'd found more satisfaction with blades. He'd followed many a man into dirty alleys to get food, or supplies, or meds for the younger Kidd. "Let it go Kidd - it's really not that important."
"Well, what's yours then?" Kidd - wonderful, naiive, stupid Kidd- had asked. "So I know how many I need to catch up."
"Do not do that," Killer had stated dryly, before turning his attention back to his scythes and checking the edges for nicks, "You'll catch syphilis. And I'm not paying for your treatment."
"I'm not going to catch syphilis," Kidd had whined.
"Gonorrhea, then," Wire had suggested.
Kidd made a face, "Gross. Stop That." he'd wrinkled his noise, before his brain seemed to have caught up with his mouth, and he blurted out, "Wait - do you have syphilis?"
Killer had turned his face up to grumble at the ceiling for a moment, "Kidd. Sex if for grown ups. If you cannot be grown up about this, than you aren't having it anymore."
"Oh, like you could stop me."
The aura off of Killer promised he could.
like i said - i didn't know where i was going with this either. I think I mostly just had that first interaction spring fully formed after the age reveal and then tried to pull a story from it with no success.
