they do, sometimes, spend time apart. Azripahle is rpetty sure it will gor to be longer eventually - they've just got six htousadn years of having to be sneaky to counter the suddenness of no longer having to pretend. What used to be a few hours here, a few hours there several years later had been lost while they where under the empoy of the dowlings, and since then, parting has felt strange. na now - now azirpahle no longer has to turn corlwey out, who in turn no long has to word each visit as some scheme.

still, they have existed essentally alone sine the garden, and azirpahle does enjoy reading, loosing himself in the pafes of a belove story for days at a time, and crowley gets the itch to be a general neasence to the larger london population. so they drift apart for a few days. it won't last long, and there is something wonderful about holding corlwey's hand in full veiw of anyone bothering to look. and not worring in the slightest what anyone things about it.

he doesn't even worry about hte scales really. he's accepted them. there's even brown sneaking in among the vein of this feathers, a drty dust colour that will eventually stain into the barbs. azirpahle desn't even know if he cares so much as he worries about crowley. azirpahle expected to fall when he told off the quatermaster nad return to earth against orders. the fact that it didn't happen then, but was happening now didn't suprise him - but he was dissapointed that he Almighty decidede vocalizing his love for crolwey was the last straw. of all the things he's done in six thousand years - that was what would damn him.

no, whta worried azirpahle was how crolwey would react. wither the dmeon realised it or not - he did put azirpahle up on a pedistal of sorts. and azirpahle had found soloice int at for a long time. the only angel worht knowing. crowely put alont of faith in azriahle, and the fact that azirpahle remained an angel both vexed and comforted the demon. he had vocalized many a times that looking at he archangels, he wasn't sure what mad them any better than the dark council. he was ready to write off all of angeldom as bieng hypocrites of the hightest order - until azirpahle. azirplahe, in corlwey's mind, said that maybe there was a reason he fell and suffered like he did , that it wasn't just polotics. that there where 'good' angel still, despide heaven's sharp turn into bullshit.

azirpahel wasn't worried corlwey's affectios wuld change, now that he was falling. no azripahle was worried aout how it would impace the demon's mental (health). how was cowley going to react unpon the eventual discovery that loving him is what had ultimatle damned azirpahle?

he was too smart for azirpahle to hid this forever; no the plan was still to never let the demon know, but to hopefullt hide it until the fall was complete. make it seem like a once and done thing, inevably and ineffable.

crowley could never find out that azirpahle could have stopped it anytime. he simply choose not too - choosing crolwey over god
