it's well into their arangement that croawlye first notices it - that the swwetness that huamns has started to infuse everything with has started to overpower the earthy soil taste he'd been cursed with.
Granted - since the arrangement, he has found himself eating more anyway. it's easy to accidently run in the same places as the angel in places that tend to have food. humans have always been that way - it seems since the moment they leanred eating was going to be a neccessity, they started to do it together. not uncommon for even the worse human enimies to broker peace over food.
and - well, once hte angel figured out what food was about, he'd dived in whole hog. crowley was pretty sure there was something against enjoying anything the way azirpahle did in the great angel code, but if he was ever given any grief about it, azirpahle was tight lipped about it.
which wasn't to say they didn't - just that azirpahle didn't take much prodding to voice his uncertainties with upper management, so either he was giving a pass, or the unfortuanle most lickely, some past of his stupid angel training had his believing it. which ment corlwey tried to encourage it all the more.
he.. he was a tempation demon after all - his whole deal was he could tell when people wanted to do somehting, but where holding back. and sometimes, the people he tried to tempt held fast and explained in very good detil why they where deinying themselves seomthing - and crowley would back off. he wasn't trying to change anyone beliefs, not really, he was just trying to get them to question why they where dening soemthing that would make htem happy. most of the time, it was petty, silly reasons. sometimes, it was good reasons. rarely, but still enought to make it note worthy, it was for the Right reasons.
He might be a demon, but even he could respect the Right reaosn. besides - if Hell ever questioned it, it was pretty safe to say that the Right thing to do wasn't nessissaroly the Good thing to do, so it wasn't like he was aiding Heaven's cause or anything.
Azirpahle din't usualy like it either, but they very rarely dissagreed on the Right thing, where as the never agreed on the Good thing.
and if he used his tempatious nature to engourge a few humans to overendgudge in sweet things - well, azirpahle did enjoy his chocolates.
