Early in thier pirate journey, kidd and killer need to deal with something and leave heat and wire in charge of the crew for a little while.

Along the way, leadership changed hands a few times and every one welcome the new captain- Dive!!!
(Actually most of the crew took turns pretending to be Kidd or Killer in the worlds worse cosplay. Heat and Wire encouraged it as the 'responsible' babysitters they are. It kept the crew happy, it boosted their reputation as unhinged pirates, and it kept either of them from actively have to play 'captain')
