Summary:After the Raid on Onigashima, Ikkaku - Sole woman of the Heart Pirates - takes it upon herself to check on the other women that fought in the Raid. It was an olive branch most accepted. She's got one group left on her self-imposed list and she was not prepared.
The new shoguns' sister had looked so uneasy when chopper had initially directed the stretcher with killer brought in. turning the little girl she'd been holding carefully so toko didn't see the man. the reaction was lost to most in the room, but Ikkaku had caught it. she'd also caught the steady hand Mr. koushiro had placed on her back. they recognized the man.
it was a poor kept secret that Killer had been brought under the heal of orochi in a bad way, and had freely killed citizens of wano on the last shogun's orders. he bore the marks from where strawhat's Roronoa had cut him down to shop him from killing lady hiyori and little toko,; still fresh enough to have been torn free in his fight with hawksins to stain his shirt now.
but the look wasn't one of fear - but pity. toko had eaten a smile fruit, and Ikkaku was ready to leave it that they forgave the outside for his actions under dress. but this was more focused.
they'd known Killer-san before he tried to kill the two women.
they might have known Killer-san before he'd rotten lost in the first place.
most people called him kamazo the manslagher.
Ikkaku also heard some of the locals call him orchoi's whore
you mean, did they rape us?
did they?
is that why they sent the girl?
no one sent me. i volunteered.

to be fair, i don't think they'd made the connection yet with you vice-captain. it's a triage unit - he had more pressing issues to address.
